The Evolis Asmi is a “Made for India” ID card printing solution designed for professional-quality card printing in individual or small runs. It supports both colour and monochrome cards and combines flexibility, ease of use and a small footprint.
The printer features 100-card input and output hopper capacity, supports card thicknesses from 0.25 to 1.25 mm, and accepts ISO 7810-compliant cards including ISO Type ID-1 and CR-80 sizes. Supported card materials include PVC, composite PVC, PET, PET-C and ABS.
Asmi offers a compact desktop design, full front operation, drop-in ribbon cassette handling and automatic ribbon identification. It includes Evolis Asmi ID Card Designer software, Evolis Printer Manager and an English user interface. The printer also features 16 million colours, an integrated colour profile, 32 MB RAM and print head protection.
The printer comes with a 2-year warranty on the printer and a 1-year warranty on the original print head, subject to the conditions specified by Evolis.
